BELFAST-born actress Seainin Brennan has married her long-time partner Ben Fetherston at a lavish three-day wedding at Dromoland Castle in Co Clare.

Brennan, best known for her role as abused paramilitary wife Liz Tyler on BBC drama The Fall, welcomed 150 guests from around the globe for her big day.

Citibank broker Fetherston popped the question in April while the couple were on a ski-trip in the Italian Alps.

Brennan shared her excitement on Saturday, tweeting: "Today is gonna be the best day of my life! I'm marrying the most amazing guy I've ever met in the most stunning venue on the Emerald Isle!"

The actress, from south Belfast, is set to make her movie debut in Dare To Be Wild later this year.
