A 32-year-old man has died after his car left a Co Louth road and struck a ditch early yesterday.
The accident happened close to Brannigan's Cross on the Collon to Tinure Road at around 1am.
The victim, who was the sole occupant of the car, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda but was pronounced dead.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses.
