Fancy owning an island? A small island in Lough Neagh has gone up for sale.

The 10-acre landmass is located to the east of Coney Island on the edge of the lough, near Maghery in Co Armagh.

And the island, known as Coney Island Flat, could be yours for around £20,000.

The property is described as renowned for its wildfowling and a "rare opportunity for the ardent sportsman to own their own sporting kingdom".

Prospective buyers can also purchase a portion of land near where the River Bann flows into the lough to provide a quay for mooring boats.

However, the jetty at Bann Foot is subject to informal lettings and storage facilities for local fishermen.

Omagh-based estate agent JG Fleming said the property was a good opportunity for a shooting club or individual buyer.
