O'Driscoll lines out with fellow graduates

IRISH rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll etched another entry on his glittering CV yesterday when he was awarded an honorary degree.

It was gown and mortar board instead of boots and gumshield for the retired star as he was recognised for services to sport by Queen's University Belfast. The former Ireland captain, who was capped 133 times for his country

and on eight occasions for the British and Irish Lions, said his latest accolade was an "enormous honour". Ireland's highest ever try scorer, who has swapped playing for TV punditry since his retirement last season, said: "To receive this recognition from such a prestigious university is a considerable honour."
