Young scientists put final touches to competition projects

* ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY TOURNAMENT: Pupils from Coláiste Feirste in Belfast are joined by chairman of the assembly employment and learning committee Robin Swann and deputy chairman Thomas Buchanan at the Technology Tournament held in Parliament Buildings. The Technology Tournament brought together teams of four students from 18 schools across Belfast with an interest in design, technology, engineering and science. The teams were set a technology challenge and designed, constructed and tested their working model. Four independent judges from industry picked the winning team, with Joanne Stuart, director of Attrus Ltd addressing and presenting the prize giving. Pupils from Rathmore Grammar School in Belfast were the overall winners
