Car thief punches woman in the face

A WOMAN was punched repeatedly in the face by one of two men who attacked her and stole her car.

She was getting into her blue Peugeot 206 on Apsley Street in central Belfast at about 8.45pm on Friday when a man knocked on the window before

opening the door and dragging her out. The accomplice got in. The first man tried to wrest the woman's handbag away from her and punched her about the face but she ran off.

The robbers escaped in the woman's car, which was found on fire at Laurelbank, Dunmurry, just after 1am on Saturday.
