Ice-cream man Morelli laid to rest

IN A heart-warming tribute, an ice-cream van accompanied the coffin belonging to one of the famous Morelli family members yesterday as his funeral was held in Belfast.

William (Billy) Morelli from the legendary Italian ice-cream family died peacefully on Sunday at the Mater Hospital in the north of the city.

Mr Morelli's coffin was draped with an Italian flag as Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Patrick's Church in the city followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.
