IRISH actress Maureen O'Hara is to be given a lifetime achievement Oscar at a special ceremony in Hollywood in November.
The 94-year-old will be presented with the Honorary Award, an Oscar statuette, in recognition of her decades of film work. She is best known for How Green Was My Valley, The Quiet Man, Our Man in Havana, Miracle on 34th Street and the Parent Trap.
