Punk guru Hooley to DJ at Clare literary gig

NORTHERN Ireland punk music legend, Terri Hooley, above, is to step behind the decks in Co Clare later month during a special weekend to celebrate Irish literature. The Belfast man, who founded the Good Vibrations record shop and label, will perform in hotel Doolin during the second annual Doolin Writers Weekend. The weekend will include workshops and readings by some of Ireland's leading writers including Claire Keegan, Moya Cannon, Claire Kilroy, theo Dorgan, Sonya Kelly and Arlene hunt.
