More than 20 killed in Baghdad blasts

MORE than 20 people have been killed in bombings around the capital, Baghdad.

Officials say the deadliest blast happened at a secondhand motorcycle market in Baghdad's sprawling eastern Sadr City district. The bomb appears to have been placed on a motorcycle at the market.

Officials say the blast killed 12 people and wounded at least 25. Also in Sadr City, officials say a bomb attached to a minibus exploded, killing five civilians and wounding 14. Meanwhile, officials say another bomb on a minibus killed four and wounded 11 in the northern Shaab district.
