A PUBLIC consultation on the A5 dual carriageway is to begin in April, Sinn Fein MLA Declan McAleer has said. Mr McAleer said the consultation's start date was revealed in a written answer from the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister.
The A5 is the main road linking Derry and Dublin. Mr McAleer said although he wished "that the dual carriageway was well under construction at this stage, i nonetheless welcome this latest commitment and timeline for the start of the public consultation as an important step forward".
