JURY selection has begun in the trial of DJ Dave lee Travis, who is accused of 13 counts of indecent assault and one of sexual assault.
The 68-year-old was at London's southwark Crown Court to face allegations of indecent assault dating between 1976 and 2003, and one count of sexual assault in 2008.
Travis, pictured, whose real name is David Patrick Griffin, was living in Mentmore in Buckinghamshire but has recently moved house and was allowed not to give his new address in open court by Judge Anthony Leonard.
The prosecution case in his trial is due to open today.
Judge leonard told a group of 40 potential jurors: "This case involves allegations of a series of indecent assaults and it is likely that you will find this an interesting case to try."
They were asked if they or a close family member has worked for the BBC, Chiltern radio or Classic Gold FM, or has been involved with scotland yard's Operation yewtree, under which Travis was arrested.
The potential jurors were also given a list of the names of witnesses in case they know any of them. a group of 18 were selected yesterday, and it is expected that a panel of 12 plus two reserves will be sworn in today.
Before sending them away until 11am today, Judge leonard warned them not to research the case in any way.
He said: "you will try the case on the information obtained here in this court and nothing else."
The charges the former radio One DJ faces are: n One count of indecent assault on a woman between January 1 1976 and December 31 1977;
* One count of indecent assault on a 15-year-old girl on June 17 1978; n One count of indecent assault on a woman on June 29 1978; n One count of indecent assault on a woman between January 1 1981 and December 31 1983; n One count of indecent assault on a woman between January 1 1983 and March 2 1984; n One count of indecent assault on a woman between January 1 1983 and December 31 1984;
* One count of indecent assault on a woman between November 1 1990 and January 31 1991;
* Two counts of indecent assault on a woman between November 1 1992 and January 1 1993;
* Three counts of indecent assault on a woman between January 1 2000 and December 31 2003;
* One count of indecent assault on a woman between January 1 2000 and December 31 2003;
* One count of sexual assault on a woman between June 1 2008 and November 30 2008.
The charges relate to 11 alleged victims.
