Belfast laureate Sinead Morrissey, pictured, joined an unprecedented celebration of poetry at Buckingham Palace last night to help mark the 66th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Britain's poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, Welsh laureate Gillian Clarke, Scotland's Elizabeth Lochhead and John Agard who won the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry, all performed readings. Actors and singers, poetry and english literature teachers, plus other academics and war poets also took part.
