Sinn Féin MP Conor Murphy said yesterday he received a death threat from someone claiming to be from the UVF.
The Newry & Armagh MP said a phone call was made to his Newry constituency office threatening that he would be shot at his home. He said he had informed the PSNI and would continue to carry out constituency work. "Considering the antics of the UVF in Belfast of several months now we took the threat seriously," he said.
