The family of an 18-year-old British soldier accidentally shot by a colleague in north Belfast 41 years ago have demanded an apology from the MoD. Robert Cutting was shot several times by another soldier in the New Lodge area on September 3 1972.
A review of the killing by the PSNI's historical enquiries Team confirmed that the British army had not convened a board of inquiry at the time to investigate the soldier's death.
