A 31-year-old man was abducted from a housing estate in Co Cavan yesterday afternoon. Richard o'Donovan, who lives in Virginia, Co Cavan, was abducted after his BMW car was rammed by a silver BMW X5 at the entrance to Swiftbrook Glen estate at about 3.30pm. He was put into the 4x4 vehicle and driven away.
