Anger over army killings review

The PSNI has been accused of arrogance over a decision to review 13 British army killings from the early 1970s. The derry-based Pat Finucane Centre said the decision was taken without consultation with victims' families and any review should be independent. A spokeswoman for the PSNI said police were cooperating with and were accountable to the Policing Board. "This is an informative review to assess if any evidential opportunities have been lost and to inform deliberations as to the future direction of the historical enquiries Team," she said.
