ENVIRONMENTAL health bosses last night recalled frozen meat and lamb products supplied by the company at the centre of the horsemeat scandal.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said frozen lamb, beef and mutton trim supplied by Farmbox Meats Limited has not been "subject to proper temperature controls and does not comply with traceability requirements".
The FSA said that products of all dates and batch codes had been made subject to a Food Alert for Action.
A spokesman for the FSA said the latest recall was nothing to do with horsemeat and had come about because of hygiene controls, and because it was not clear who the meat had been sold to.
The organisation issued an alert that added: "It has not been possible to obtain full distribution details or product traceability records for products supplied from this establishment."
The meat company, based in Llandre, near Aberystwyth, Ceredigion was raided by police and FSA officials investigating the discovery of horsemeat in processed beef products in February.
Work was suspended for a month as part of the inquiry into the alleged mislabelling of meat products.
A month later the company reopened but stopped again in April over hygiene issues, and eventually went into receivership in June.
