Car and van stole in city

THREE men armed with an iron bar have hi-jacked a car in south Belfast. A woman was threatened and ordered out of the silver Peugeot 206 car at around 6pm on Tuesday on the Lisburn Road. Police said the woman was not injured but was left "very badly shaken". The car was later found abandoned at St James' Crescent in west Belfast. Meanwhile, police have also appealed for information about the theft of a van in west Belfast on Tuesday afternoon. While a driver was making a delivery at Gransha Parade, two men stole his van. It was recovered a short time later at Avoca Court.
