Food delivery app Uber Eats is giving away free copies of the new Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 game when customers order fish and chips from Harry Ramsden’s.

A special deal timed with the shooting game’s release on Friday and over the following weekend will see those who order the ‘Cod for COD’ bundle from select branches of the fish restaurant via the Uber Eats app receive a digital code to download the game on PlayStation 4 for free.

The bundle costs £7.99 and also includes a regular portion of cod and chips, but the game will only be available “while stocks last”.

Three Harry Ramsden’s locations on the Uber Eats app are taking part in the offer; London Victoria, Birmingham Arena and Castlemore in Manchester.

Black Ops 4 is the first Call Of Duty game to not feature a single-player campaign mode, with developers Treyarch instead introducing a battle royale mode – Blackout – to take on the likes of Fortnite.

The game also features a revamped multiplayer mode, and the largest Zombies mode ever available at launch, with three separate experiences on offer.
