New Angry Birds game will allow users to play the game in mixed reality

Players will be able to play the game as if it were set in their own living room.

The next Angry Birds game will use mixed reality to project characters and animations into the environments of its players.

Rovio Entertainment and Resolution Games revealed Angry Birds FPS: First Person Slingshot for Magic Leap One Creator Edition, an augmented reality headset.

The release date is pencilled in for autumn with no specific date available as yet – but for now, this is what players can look forward to.

Angry Birds has had more than four billion downloads since 2009, making it one of the most successful IPs in mobile gaming history.
