Fortnite fans are set to get a taste of gaming in the real world in the form of a Monopoly version of the hit game.
Shoppers on Zavvi.com noticed a Fortnite Edition Monopoly set on the website, before the listing was swiftly removed – but Epic Games has since confirmed its existence.

According to the company’s worldwide creative director there won’t be long to wait either, as it will be available from October 1.
Zavvi’s listing suggested that the game would go on sale in the UK from November 26, priced at £26.99, but given that the product was published accidentally it’s possible that some of the information isn’t correct.
Fortnite’s twist on Monopoly appears to be very much the same as the digital game – battle it out to be the last player standing.
Money will reportedly act as health points, so as soon as you run out of life points you lose the game.
The product description also hints at how Fortnite staples will be included, ranging from familiar Fortnite Island locations across the board, to the dreaded storm which will deplete a player’s life.
