A mysterious cube is moving around Fortnite and no-one knows why

Fortnite has offered up a new mystery in the form of a moving purple cube which has everyone puzzled.

The cube first appeared on the popular game’s island amid a flurry of lightning last week, soon after the latest patch update.

Questions about its purpose soon intensified when the cube started to slowly move around.

Gamers noticed a regular pattern in its movements, noting down 14 shifts every day at the same time. But the cube doesn’t move very far, simply rolling over one turn at a time.

No-one has figured out the purpose yet either, leading to an array of wild theories across social media, ranging from the cube packing loot to speculation that it may be heading towards something.
