Fortnite is bringing back guided missiles but not as you know them

If you miss the guided missiles on Fortnite, you’ll be pleased to hear they are set to make a return.

The weapon’s strength previously caused controversy on the hit game, mainly because you never stood a chance of surviving if you came into contact with someone in possession of one.

Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, pulled the guided missile in an April patch release but are now planning to bring it back, albeit with less power.

When it returns to the Battle Royale mode, it will be slower, cause less damage and will have a smaller ammo cap, which will hopefully give everyone a bit of a chance.

Fortnite is currently in the process of celebrating its first birthday, treating players with some extra celebratory loot and challenges.

The latest release also marked the return of the Playground mode, a sandbox-like option giving gamers the chance to practice their skills without the pressure of live survival.
