Deliveroo is getting in on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by bringing a little more than food to hungry customers.
Anyone around the city who writes #EdinburghBinge in the notes of their order on the app will be in with a chance of getting a monologue delivered to their doorstep, as well as their food.
A bunch of actors from the Bedlam Theatre will be on hand to perform Shakespeare-inspired monologue HAM-let’s To Eat Or Not To Eat at no extra cost.
“Edinburgh is known for its sell-out shows across the city during Fringe and we don’t want anyone to miss out,” said Deliveroo’s Joe Groves.
“Immersive dining is so popular, we thought why can’t we deliver drama as well as mouth-watering meals to enhance the dining experience for our customers.”
Any tips given to the actors will go towards supporting the group, which is an entirely student-run theatre in the centre of Edinburgh.
