Tech powerhouses Bang & Olufsen and LG have partnered to create a TV that can move at the touch of a remote control button.

The BeoVision Eclipse, which combines B&Os sound power and LG’s efficient OLED, 4K display – which emits a higher-quality image – was revealed at the IFA tech conference in Berlin.

The innovative design boasts a motorised floor stand, which allows the unit to glide 90 degrees either side when pulled away from the wall, via remote control.

The BeoRemote One features shortcut buttons to Netflix and Amazon shows, as well as TV and music.

And B&O say the TV has Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth and Chromecast built in, allowing users to play music wirelessly from their phone.

However the product, which will be released in September, will set users back by up to £11,590 for a 65-inch TV and £8,920 for a 55-inch version.

The sleek black screen is also interrupted by an aluminium-covered speaker bar, which runs across the bottom length of the unit and doubles up as a floating wall mount.

However, those put off by the unique design feature will have the option to customise the bar from its default silver, to navy, red, black or gold.
