Roxanne Pallett has returned to Instagram for the first time since her Celebrity Big Brother punch row with a message defending Michael Jackson.

The actress has been quiet online since last year’s scandal, when she was heavily criticised for accusing fellow housemate Ryan Thomas of punching her, a claim she later said was “massively wrong”.

She returned to Instagram ahead of the screening of Leaving Neverland, a Channel 4 documentary in which two men allege they were sexually abused by the late King of Pop.

Pallett shared a black and white picture of Jackson, and wrote: “Just because you read it in a magazine or see it on the TV screen, don’t make it factual…” (Lyrics:Tabloid Junkie).

“#michaeljackson #mjinnocent #mjfam.”

The Jackson family has denied the allegations against the late singer, saying the film is “all about the money”.

Jackson died in 2009 following an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol.

Leaving Neverland airs on Channel 4 on Wednesday and Thursday.
