BBC soap EastEnders has teased viewers by giving them a glimpse of character Phil Mitchell punching Keanu Taylor for not telling him about young Dennis Rickman’s involvement with a gang.
Keanu, played by actor Danny Walters, decided to keep from Phil that (Bleu Landau) after he discovered a bag of stolen phones that Phil’s stepson Denny had stashed in The Arches garage for a local gang.
When Phil (Steve McFadden) takes Denny for a day out, the boy appears frightened when he sees some of the members of the gang, arousing Phil’s suspicions.
In scenes that will air on Monday, Phil confronts Keanu and his wife Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) to find out what has been going on.
When Phil discovers he had not had the full truth, he flies into a fit of rage.
In new pictures released ahead of the next episode, Keanu is taking a punch to the stomach from Phil after he tries to defend Sharon.
EastEnders continues on BBC One tonight at 8.30pm.
