Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley made a guest appearance on ITV’s Benidorm – and viewers declared it was “Gold”.
The singer turned up as the new series of the show started on Wednesday night, playing the wedding singer on Joyce and Monty’s big day.
In one scene he speeds off on the back of a boat singing the band’s 1983 hit Gold, which fans thought was hilarious.
One person wrote on Twitter that Hadley’s cameo was an “absolute blinder”, while another gushed: “@TheTonyHadley appearance on #Benidorm was fantastic. I would say it was ‘Gold’.”
