Claire Foy takes centre stage on the star-studded cover of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue.
The British actress and star of The Crown appears alongside a host of big screen heavyweights including Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford on the US magazine’s annual fold-out cover.

Michael B Jordan, Zendaya, Jessica Chastain, Michael Shannon, Gal Gadot and Vanity Fair’s outgoing editor Graydon Carter complete the line-up.
The 12 actors and Carter were photographed by Annie Leibovitz, who regularly shoots for the publication.
Foy reclines across Chastain’s legs at the bottom centre of the cover while wearing a nude ball gown.
The female stars are each clad in red carpet-worthy dresses, while the men are suited in tuxedos with white bow ties, apart from Ford, who wears his shirt unbuttoned at the collar.
Vanity Fair, which has showcased Hollywood’s leading talent during awards season for the past 25 years, said it chose this year’s cover stars based on their influence at a time when the #MeToo movement is in full swing.
The magazine’s James Wolcott wrote: “Movies have always thrived on relevance, and this year’s cover stars don’t hesitate to make a statement about the times we’re living in and the changes that need to happen.”
Foy was listed as a crucial addition because of her role as the Queen in lavish Netflix series The Crown, along with Gadot as Wonder Woman, who are both “embodiments of their formidable characters”.
The Crown star won the prize for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for her role as the monarch at the SAG Awards on Sunday.
