Fans of military drama Our Girl have hit out at the show for killing off Elvis Harte, played by Luke Pasqualino.
Many took to Twitter to say they were devastated and heartbroken by the decision, with some even announcing that they will not be watching the next part of the series.

Elvis’s time alongside Corporal Georgie Lane (Michelle Keegan) was cut short on the BBC One show on Tuesday night as he was caught in an explosion during the last episode of the show’s latest Nepal Tour run.
One angry fan demanded on Twitter: “Why the hell would you kill off elvis in #ourgirl worst decision ever.”

Pasqualino’s character has risen through the military ranks on the show after joining the SAS selection following a number of tours with the Army.
Despite breaking Georgie’s heart earlier in the show – for which he has been desperately trying to make amends – he has won over viewers with his bravery and skill while working on counter-terrorism and drug operations in the Middle and Far East, Afghanistan and Syria.
The programme will return without Elvis next year when 2-Section and Special Forces head to northern Nigeria to assist following the kidnapping. It will mark the second of the three-part tour, each broadcast over four episodes.
A first-look image of the upcoming season shows a muddied Georgie flanked by two soldiers as she is pulled back to the front line while still trying to get over the loss of her friend.
