Love Island viewers said they were “devastated” after the current series came to an end.

The latest run of the ITV2 dating show has been a huge hit with fans and in the ratings.

Winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies were crowned almost a week ago, but viewers still had the reunion show, After Sun, to look forward to.

“IM CRYING ITS ACTUALLY OVER NOW,” tweeted one upset viewer after it aired on Sunday night, adding broken heart emojis.

One viewer quipped: “Well I might aswell sell my tv now #LoveIsland is officially over.”

“Already missing it and it’s literally just finished,” said another.

“What will I do at 9pm tomorrow night??!!!” asked another worried fan.

The reunion show featured interviews with some of the contestants, and a look at what happened when they returned home.

It also included an award ceremony – The Muggies.

Awards included the Melt Award For Romance, which went to Cetinay for his bracelet proposal to Davies; and the Dry Your Eyes Mate prize, which went to Tyla Carr for a particularly emotional breakdown.

The People’s Choice Award for the Muggiest Moment Of The Series went to Mike Thalassitis, “for being Muggy Mike”.
