Seven people have been arrested at Scotland’s newest music festival, TRNSMT, for offences including alleged drug possession with intent to supply.
More than 100,000 people were anticipated to have attended the three-day event by the end of Sunday.
Police Scotland has made seven arrests for offences including alleged possession of drugs with intent to supply, alleged fraud and alleged public nuisance offences.
Two people were reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly being in possession of a small quantity of drugs while 25 people also received a police warning for allegedly being in possession of a small amount of drugs.
Chief Inspector Simon Jeacocke, event commander for Police Scotland, said: “We would like to remind those attending that there is a zero tolerance approach to drugs. We continue to have an armed presence outside Glasgow Green for everyone’s safety and security.”
The sold-out Saturday saw 50,000 people attend the event while 35,000 hit Glasgow Green on Friday as part of the three-day festival.
Organisers say attendance has exceeded expectations, with numbers set to exceed 100,000 by Sunday.
Declan McKenna was to perform on King Tuts Stage on Sunday.
The 18-year-old has performed at three Glastonburys and is due to release his debut album on Friday July 21.
