Charles Dance kicked off a new series of Who Do You Think You Are? tonight with an emotional episode that had viewers crying along with him.
The Game Of Thrones star started the programme knowing next to nothing about his father, but discovered an enormous amount about his life and even travelled to South Africa to meet a great niece he had known nothing about.
Dance looked delighted to have been introduced to his new relatives and was touched when they offered him a photo of his father to keep.
Viewers tweeted that they had thoroughly enjoyed the return of the BBC genealogy show.
