Holly Willoughby had the This Morning studio in fits of laughter as she dropped an inadvertent innuendo while interviewing Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness.

Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield were speaking to Keith, real name Leigh Francis, and Paddy about their new programme, The Keith and Paddy Picture Show, which sees them comically recreate famous scenes from movies with the help of celebrity guests.

Holly said to Keith: “This must be your dream come true, I mean you say this seed was sown back when you were doing Comic Relief and you dressed up as movie characters, but this actual seed was sown in your bedroom when you were young … ”

Stopping herself after realising how her words had sounded, Holly fell back with laughter along with a surprised Phillip.

Jokingly offended, Paddy said: “I beg your pardon?”

Keith said: “I was sowing seeds in my bedroom?”

Referring to an earlier segment of the programme, comedian Paddy said: “Hang on a minute – you’ve just been eating salty worms, now you’re on about seeds in bedrooms.

“What is happening to this show?”

Keith added: “Yes, I was planting seeds when I was a child, in my bedroom thinking of Paddy McGuinness!”

After several long moments of being unable to talk due to laughing, along with a giggling Phillip, Holly said: “Don’t make it something it’s not!

“What I was saying was, it has been a real passion project for you. It’s been a dream come true.

“You know what I mean!”

Earlier in the show, the two comic actors had barged onto the set while interior designer Kelly Hoppen discussed products for the home, with Paddy sharing his incredulity over the price of a bon bon jar.

Holly said: “Oh my gosh, what are you doing?”

Paddy, pointing at the jar, said: “£45 for that? I wouldn’t pay that – (it’s) London. London!”
