Former Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt has said she is excited to give her daughter a new sibling.
Kimberly, 35, is due to give birth at the end of August, bringing her and husband Max Rogers their second child after having Willow in 2014.
Kimberly told the Press Association: “It’s hugely happy in our house. We’re excited to welcome our second child. We can’t wait to give our older girl a sibling.
“She (Willow) is so excited to be a big sister.
“I think she’s going to be an amazing mummy’s helper and that’s what I always kind of hoped, not only to give a sibling but also to make Willow feel like she’s part of it.”
The UK-based American performer and Max, a British model, found out the news in January, she added.
Kimberly remained tight-lipped over the sex but Max, 34, has shared a picture of the expectant mother and two-year-old Willow alongside a caption stating “my THREE girls”.
Kimberly, who also won Celebrity MasterChef in 2015, spoke as she prepared to launch her debut children’s fiction novel Billie’s Big Audition, due out on May 4.
The book is the first in the World Elite Dance Academy series, which draws on her own childhood.
After taking a class for aspiring performers in London’s Pineapple Studios, she said she hopes the books will inspire youngsters to dance.
“I was an incredibly shy kid and didn’t have a whole lot of confidence. I didn’t look in the mirror and think ‘oh, I’m beautiful’,” she said.
“What I found with dance was, not only did I find a place I could express myself emotionally through music and have this wonderful connection, but I could also feel confident about the tricks and turns, leaps and jumps and choreography that I could accomplish and that gave me a seed of confidence.”
