A Banksy artwork that had been blocked by scaffolding has been uncovered.

The work, which shows an artist writing Banksy in bright red letters, had been obscured while developers worked on refurbishing the property in London’s Notting Hill.

Located on the corner of Portobello Road, it is thought to depict the Spanish painter Diego Velazquez.

The artwork, thought to have been painted by the mysterious Banksy in 2008, is covered by protective glass and floodlit.
