Beyonce and Jay-Z have shown support for the Duchess of Sussex with their acceptance speech at the Brit Awards.

The married couple won the best international group prize at the ceremony for their work as duo The Carters and sent a pre-recorded video filmed in front of a painting of Meghan dressed as a queen.

The film was a reference to their music video for single APES**T, in which they appear in front of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre.

After their win, Beyonce shared the video and pictures on Instagram and wrote: “Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group.

“I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle.

“How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova.

“In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.”

The couple are not the only famous faces to show support for Meghan.

George Clooney has said she is being “pursued and vilified” and compared her treatment with that of Diana, Princess of Wales.

His human rights lawyer wife Amal recently attended the duchess’s baby shower in New York City, alongside her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer and TV star Gayle King.

Meghan is due to give birth in late April or early May.
