The cathedral has been praised over its posts on the social networking site just being so lovely.
St Paul’s originally asked its 39,900 followers to determine the focus of the thread in a Twitter poll. Cathedral life won with 29% of votes, narrowly beating history which received 28%.
The thread included 21 tweets embracing the cathedral’s different looks and its role at the centre of historic moments as well as its glorious views over London.
