Wolves aren’t the first club to have their big kit reveal scuppered by leaked photographs, but luckily they had a neat trick up their sleeve.
The club’s social media account was clearly aware fans had probably caught a glimpse of the 2017/18 shirt, but played along.
As mentioned earlier this week, today's the day we launch our brand new, never-before-seen, 2017/18 home shirt… ??

The big reveal came in the form of an out-of-this-world video, where the new shirt was launched into space with a fixed camera attached to track its progress.
It’s a reasonably entertaining video, but Wolves probably didn’t anticipate the detail fans would focus on.The club were forced to clarify that the vast sponsor that dominates the top is, in fact, not as ludicrously large as it seems.
The shirt sent into space was a 'mini-kit' with an adult-sized sponsor. Not representative of actual proportions.

This kit launch is going well…

A mini-kit with an adult-sized sponsor was the problem, but not everyone was satisfied.
We get that but it gives them dis-proportianate attention – looks more like a Money Shop Ad than The Wolves #notonmyshirt

Its just the sponsor that's the problem not the size of it. Option should be available to have shirt without it

Maybe the away shirt will get a better reception.
