A lengthy Facebook post by Theresa May has some people questioning whether she’s just handed Jeremy Corbyn the plans to the Death Star.
The UK’s political parties are deep into their campaigns, with the General Election just over three weeks away, and May used social media to put some points across about Jeremy Corbyn and Labour.
But the way the post began – “If I lose just six seats I will lose this election and Jeremy Corbyn will be sitting down to negotiate with Europe” – has prompted a humorous response on Twitter.
SHE'S JUST TWEETED THE PLANS TO THE DEATHSTAR! RED SQUADRON, GO! https://t.co/0p4ZzoDNiT

It definitely made the Prime Minister’s position ahead of the election seem vulnerable, something many people noticed.
@theresa_may Sounds good let's do that.

In the full post May went on to describe Labour’s manifesto as one with “fantastical promises and utopian vision”, and one that would “undo all the progress we have made”.Continuing, May said that a Labour victory on June 8 was actually very possible. “And make no mistake, it could happen. The cold hard fact is that if I lose just six seats I will lose this election, and Jeremy Corbyn will be sitting down to negotiate with the presidents, prime ministers and chancellors of Europe.”
Theresa MayIf I lose just six seats I will lose this election, and Jeremy Corbyn will be sitting down to negotiate with the presidents, prime ministers and chancellors of Europe: For anyone with any doubts…
It wasn’t just Labour supporters who were enthused though. Plenty of people supported May’s sentiments. Matthew Townsend replied to the post on Facebook, saying: “You have my vote can’t bear thinking if Corbyn and his minions were sat at the negotiating table they would be a laughing stock.”Anne-Marie Wileman wrote: “Those first two paragraphs have just decided it for me. You have my vote ‘Country before Party’ she will deliver Brexit & that’s ALL I care about for now. Rule Britannia.”And there were also some friends in her Twitter replies.
@theresa_may I am a pensioner and welcome your policies for the good of my children and grandchildren. The most sensible manifesto in years.

But it definitely seems that the Prime Minister’s words have Labour supporters dreaming.
