Who’s had a good day?
The Labour Party has support from across the pond in the form of Hollywood actor Danny DeVito. The 72-year-old, who has starred in films such as Matilda, Twins and The War Of The Roses, tweeted: “U.K. You’ve got the guy. Register by May 22nd. Vote for Jeremy Corbyn… show us how it’s done!”
DeVito also added the hashtag #grime4corbyn, in reference to stars such as Stormzy who are also supporting Corbyn.

Corbyn appeared to make the most of this celebrity endorsement, retweeting DeVito and writing: “If @Danny Devito is saying you should register to vote then you really should.”

Ukip leader Paul Nuttall was forced to cancel a day of campaigning in Essex after his party’s battle bus had a wing mirror knocked off.
The distinctive purple vehicle was clipped by a lorry in a coach park overnight.

Nine-year-old Hasnain Nawaz made Labour supporters laugh at a Corbyn rally in Peterborough when he asked the Labour leader: “What does strong and stable mean?”
The Prime Minister’s mantra came under fire more from Hasnain, who attended Corbyn’s speech with his father, as he went on to say: “Theresa May says it all the time and she’s not really doing anything is she?”

Ronnie Cowan, the SNP’s parliamentary candidate for Inverclyde, shared an awkward spelling error from the Conservative candidate for the area on Twitter.
Cowan pointed out that it says “my priorities for Inveclyde” on the campaign leaflets for David Wilson.
“Not the greatest start to the Tory campaign in #Inverclyde”, Cowan tweeted, with a winking emoji.

According to Press Association polls, projections have remained the same, with the Conservatives on 47%, Labour on 31% and the rest of the parties lagging behind.
