When Shad Moss was apparently caught out stretching the truth on social media, he started nothing short of a new online phenomenon.
The Bow Wow Challenge began after the rapper, formally known as Lil’ Bow Wow, posted this picture a few days ago inferring he was about to travel on the private jet pictured.
But eagle-eyed commentators were quick to point out some crucial details that don’t seem to add up – firstly, that he was supposedly spotted flying economy class that same day.
Lmfaooooo who's mans is this @smoss?! pic.twitter.com/MHDvIcMppG

And secondly, that the picture looks very similar to one used on a Florida VIP transportation company website (including the Mercedes’ reg plate.)
Now Twitter users have set themselves the task of upgrading their lifestyles in a similar manner with some clever, or not-so-clever, use of social media foolery. And the results are hilarious.
