Twitter has lit up with memes mocking the shocking incident that happened on board an overbooked United Airlines flight.
Video emerged yesterday of a bloodied and distressed passenger being dragged from his seat and down the aisle by his arms.
Twitter users decided to inject the situation with some scathing humour by creating memes referring to films like Fight Club, Star Wars and Snakes On A Plane.

United was trying to make room for four employees of a partner airline on the Sunday evening flight from Chicago to Louisville, Kentucky – but the way they dealt with it has left the internet enraged.United Airlines spokesman Charlie Hobart said three of the four customers the airline said had to leave the plane did so, but the fourth refused and so the police were called. He said: “We followed the right procedures. That plane had to depart. We wanted to get our customers to their destinations.”
