Many great things come your way as golf’s Masters champion – the green jacket, lots of money and a decent trophy too – but one of the coolest has to be an invitation to the Champions Dinner.
The dinner, perhaps unsurprisingly, comprises former Masters winners – but the interesting part is that the previous winner gets to set the menu.
That responsibility fell to Yorkshire’s own Danny Willett, who remarkably triumphed in last year’s tournament, and it’s fair to say he’s stayed pretty true to his roots.

Mini cottage pies, then a beautiful looking roast, both followed by apple crumble, coffee, cheese and biscuits, and of course Yorkshire tea. We’re not sure what the wines are Danny, but we love the sound of the food. Mmm, save us a few Yorkshires would you?

Yorkshire Tea themselves were pretty pleased to be on a champion’s menu – in fact, they told Willett as much.
@Danny_Willett We're honoured to be on your menu, Danny. Best of luck this week!

Others feared the gravy wouldn’t be made in the proper style…
@Danny_Willett I hope they know how to do proper gravy.

… but most agreed it was the menu of a champion – one specific champion perhaps, but a champion nonetheless.
