Cast your mind back to the heady days of spring 2015: Britain was still in the EU, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to Princess Charlotte, and Milifandom was at its height.
Yes, before the fateful 2015 general election, the country was gripped with mania for Ed Miliband. However, even though the former Labour leader might be gone from frontline politics, he’s definitely not forgotten.
Yesterday Miliband was going about his day travelling on the Tube when he spotted a group of girls taking a surreptitious selfie with him in the background.
Instead of feeling annoyed and a bit hassled, Miliband stepped up to the plate and asked for a photo with the girls – which Alice Harrison soon posted on Twitter.
It was a truly baller move that didn’t go unappreciated by others in the carriage.
Can confirm the #Milifandom is well and truly still active. @Ed_Miliband being a class act on the @northernline right now. pic.twitter.com/FFSI8yc3Yq

And you can be sure this has inflamed the hearts of the Milifandom anew.

It’s almost like the events of the last couple of years haven’t happened – the love for Miliband seems to have remained true.

Also FYI – if you don’t already follow Miliband on Twitter, it’s definitely worth it.
It seems that he’s been using some of his spare time to hilariously troll people recently – just see this tweet he posted the day that George Osborne was announced editor of the Evening Standard.
Breaking: I will shortly be announced as editor of Heat magazine….

Are we about to see the dawn of a new era of Milifandom?
