When ABC News tweeted “trump is our lord and saviour” we thought there must be something up.
And we were right – much like those of Donald Trump himself, the tweets just kept coming.
“Can’t stump the trump” followed, and as soon as the American news site deleted the tweets, the person on the other end of the computer kept posting.
ABC confirmed it had been hacked, along with two other Twitter accounts run by the channel.
.@ABC News, @GMA and @GMAPopNews Twitter accounts were hacked early this morning. We're working on resolving the problem.

During the short tweeting spree, ABC retweeted a message from the user @PlzNoHack, which said: “hello ABC love from Bones x”.Could this anonymous user be behind the hack? The account was swiftly suspended by Twitter.
Twitter users quickly caught on, and screenshots of more tweets have been making the rounds.

One thing’s for sure – ABC is going to have to change its passwords following the breach.
