In a storming game for Spurs in which four different players scored an unanswered six goals against Millwall, one man stood out.

Not hat-trick scorer Heung-Min Son, although his performance was stellar. No, we’re talking about Vincent Janssen.

Janssen has appeared 30 times for Spurs and has only scored from penalties, so needless to say he will be relieved.

The anticipation began to build when fans spotted him warming up to come on.

Then the time came. Son shrugged off defenders and passed to Janssen, who made a left-footed strike straight into goal.

Chants of “He scores when he wants” rang out across the stadium after the long-anticipated goal, which came in the 79th minute.

Those who couldn’t be there in person took to Twitter to revel in Janssen’s glory.

And possibly got a little over-optimistic.

The result sees Spurs go through to the semi-final of the FA Cup.
