That’s it, England have beaten Scotland 61-21 in their RBS 6 Nations game at Twickenham meaning that they retain the Six Nations title and equal New Zealand’s record of 18 successive Test wins, much to the disappointment of Scottish fans.

Scotland arrived at Twickenham with what they considered their best chance of recording a first victory in the fixture since 1983, but things didn’t quite work out for them and to be totally honest they were pummelled for most of the match.

The title was effectively secured by half-time after two tries from England player and man of the match Jonathan Joseph, and a third he set up for Anthony Watson, which established an unassailable 30-7 lead against their opponents.Joseph continued his winning performance in the second half and completed his hat-trick leading the whites to victory.

Scottish fans were pretty embarrassed, and England fans had no issue with rubbing salt in the wounds.

Better luck next time, Scots.
