Ukip leader Paul Nuttall appeared on The Andrew Marr Show to defend himself over accusations of lying.
He blamed claims he wasn’t at Hillsborough at all on an “orchestrated smear camapign” run by Labour. He also said people need to get some “perspective” on the issue of the false website claims about losing friends during the tragedy.
He said: “It’s not as if I have lied about weapons of mass destruction. It’s not as if I have taken us into an illegal war. It’s not as if I’ve been caught in a paedophile ring.”

It doesn’t look like he’s gained any sympathy, but at least people are keeping a sense of humour.
Paul Nuttall was very upset about being accused of lying on #Marr. At least nobody can take his Oscar, Grammy and BAFTA away from him.
